Tell us about yourself and Potato Champion

I opened Potato Champion in 2008. We serve fries, homemade sauces, poutine, and many other fry based dishes. We started out as a late night spot, but now are open all day 7 days a week.

How has life changed since you started using MarketMan’s restaurant management software?

Since starting with MarketMan, the day to day has become much more efficient. It also took a lot of the worry out of the back of my mind when it came to how people were portioning and what our food cost looked like. It was the perfect system to plug into my business.

What is your favorite part of the platform?

Being able to log waste events for sure. We had no way of conveniently tracking these things before. Our waste has been cut in half since we started using it. Also, having employees log waste events really keeps them on their toes. The MarketMan integration with my POS is also crucial.
